In time we find we come to find it is not our similarities that bring us together,
it is our differences. Our faults make us who we are and our mishaps bring
us closer. In time we find friendship becomes our main priority. Drugs replace
alcohol for hiding our pain and virginity becomes just a word lacking meaning.
Time brings us maturity, experience, a past, and hope for a better future. Things
that once were held so dear to our hearts slip through the spaces of time and
becomes part of our past. Time opens our eyes to the thing we strive for. It shows
us a minor glimpse of our future and hope that tomorrow will be more than we
thought it would be. Time shoes us that our misfortunes are accompanied by our
achievements. That with good comes bad and that to truly feel happiness we
must experience pain. Time gives us chances to turn around and make them better.
Time allows for change and second chances. Time cannot be sped up or slowed
down. Or can it? In life we find that time is what we take most from granted
and what we lack the most. Don't let time pass you by.
